In Preparation for Social Work Month 2013: Live Twitter Chat 1/7/13 at 8pm EST

Social Work Month is observed every year in March, and each year during that time Social Workers in the US and in other parts of the world have opportunities to take time to be intentional about celebrating and promoting the field of Social Work.

Recently, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) released 100 Ways to Promote Social Work Month which lists ways in which students, professionals, and other allies can get involved and not only join in the celebration, but take actions that reinforce the spirit of this great profession.

How will you get involved?

Socialworkhelper.com is launching a campaign in support of Social Work Month and would like to include you in the effort. Join me on twitter this Monday, January 7th, 2013 at 8pm EST in a live twitter chat where we will discuss issues that are important to the profession and exchange ideas about how we can better unite to promote Social Work. This will be the first of many weekly Social Work Chats that will take place on Monday evenings this year.
