Short Clip Illustrates the Impact of Addiction

This short clip, entitled “Nuggets” has been said to represent addiction.

My feelings are mixed. While I think I get the overall message, I’m left wondering why the color black continues to be used to represent negativity.

I think the example is good, but find it harder to ignore the larger implications and results that can come from attaching negative associations to blackness.
