Site Maintenance

Over the next few days, I’ll be undergoing some site maintenance. Most notably, I’ll be switching platforms, moving RelandoThompkins.com and Notes from an Aspiring Humanitarian over from the wordpress.com platform to a self-hosted space at wordpress.org.

The Video & PhotoBlog will remain here, hosted via wordpress.com for the time being until I get my feet wet with this new platform.

For anyone who has followed or subscribed in the past via wordpress.com or email, your connection will still be valid and you won’t have to add any additional information after the switch.

I truly value your connection & readership.

The first goal after the transfer will be to make sure that things look as similar to the way they do now as possible. After I become more comfortable with things over time, you may see some slight changes, or aggressive new design ideas.

After tomorrow, I’m hoping things will be back to business as usual within a couple of weeks. Bear with me.

Grace & Peace,

From Aspiring Humanitarian, Relando Thompkins, MSW

I'm a Social Justice Educator and Aspiring Humanitarian who is interested in conflict resolution, improving intergroup relations, and building more equitable and inclusive communities. "Notes from an Aspiring Humanitarian" is my blog, where I write about issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice. By exploring social identities through written word, film & video, and other forms of media, I hope to continue to expand and enrich conversations about social issues that face our society, and to find ways to take social action while encouraging others to do so as well in their own ways.
