The Safe Zone Project

“THE SAFE ZONE PROJECT IS A FREE ONLINE RESOURCE FOR CREATING POWERFUL, EFFECTIVE LGBTQ AWARENESS AND ALLY TRAINING WORKSHOPS”

I came across The Safe Zone Project’s website today while looking up some activities on intersectionality for one of my classes this week. From what I’ve seen so far, the site has lots of information, workshop ideas and materials.

You can search activity ideas by type, such as reflective activities, large group, small group activities, level of knowledge, trust level, length of time, etc.

Visit TheSafeZoneProject.com for more information.

I'm a Social Justice Educator and Aspiring Humanitarian who is interested in conflict resolution, improving intergroup relations, and building more equitable and inclusive communities. "Notes from an Aspiring Humanitarian" is my blog, where I write about issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice. By exploring social identities through written word, film & video, and other forms of media, I hope to continue to expand and enrich conversations about social issues that face our society, and to find ways to take social action while encouraging others to do so as well in their own ways.
