More on Implicit Bias

Earlier this month, I published a note featuring 2 informative resources on implicit bias related to race. I think this short clip can serve to further that conversation.

I see this clip as another reminder of how important it is to find ways to make what is implicit in our hearts and minds explicit so that we can examine the way we think about things, challenge what we think we know (which could actually be false) and make room for more accurate information.

Check out the clip and let me know what you think. Remember, if you have any resources on implicit bias, feel free to share them here.

I'm a Social Justice Educator and Aspiring Humanitarian who is interested in conflict resolution, improving intergroup relations, and building more equitable and inclusive communities. "Notes from an Aspiring Humanitarian" is my blog, where I write about issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice. By exploring social identities through written word, film & video, and other forms of media, I hope to continue to expand and enrich conversations about social issues that face our society, and to find ways to take social action while encouraging others to do so as well in their own ways.
