Making conscious decisions to move toward equity and social justice can place us in positions where we find ourselves moving against the current, taking roads less traveled.
As difficult and isolating as the act of moving upstream can feel at times, it’s important to realize that you aren’t alone, and the work has purpose and meaning.
Be encouraged by these words from Dr. King on Creative Maladjustment.
Because there are some things that we should never get used to, no matter how hard we are pressured to do so.
